In February 2016 Artists and students worked with Touchstone collaborations, the Visual Arts department and the Entomology department at Stellenbosch University to investigate the ecology of visual arts, food and gardening. 

 

Touchstone collaborations is a socially engaged ecologically inspired arts, research and design practice dedicated to sustaining cultures in balance with nature. Their approach is collaborative and inter-disciplinary. As ecological artists, researchers and designers, they are touchstones to each other. In these exchanges within the chrysalis of each other’s attention, they discover powerful, fresh and expansive approaches to their research practice. ....For more soil dig here!
